In 2010, Singapore’s Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) followed its 2009 phase of initial setup by blossoming into a fully functioning, vibrant, and active research center.
The Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) and the Experimental Power Grid Centre (EPGC) of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) co-hosted a major symposium on "Information Technology for Smart Grid Systems" in Singapore on Thursday, December 9.
Five interns joined ADSC from Sun-Yat Sen University in November 2010.
Shengkui Zhao has joined ADSC as a postdoctoral fellow.
Richard Ma has brought to ADSC his extensive expertise in modeling and economic and incentive issues in network systems.
Yinan Li has just joined the Advanced Digital Sciences Center as a Software Engineer
Viet-Anh Nguyen has joined ADSC as a postdoctoral researcher
Zhenjie Zhang Dr. Zhenjie Zhang joins ADSC as a Research Scientist with expertise in data mining. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore.
Dr. Byung-Won On joins ADSC in order to work with Dr. Kevin Chang on the Augmented Reality Information Search Engine (ARISE) project.
Ardian Kristanto Poernomo received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. His research interests are in data mining and are specialized in mining and summarizing interesting itemsets.
