ADSC researcher Jiangbo Lu was recently selected to receive the 2012 Best Associate Editor award from IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT).
The University of Illinois has named Professor Doug Jones as the new director of the Advanced Digital Sciences Center in Singapore. Jones is replacing Marianne Winslett, an Illinois professor of computer science, who will step down from her role and return to Illinois full-time as of June 30, 2013.
Donna Foley has been named managing director for the Advanced Digital Sciences Center in Singapore. Foley will work out of the Coordinated Science Laboratory on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus.
