New Research Scientist and Postdoc Join ADSC

Two researchers have just accepted positions at ADSC. Richard T. B. Ma joined ADSC as a Research Scientist in June, and Dongbo Min is joining as a Postdoctoral Researcher this month.

Richard Ma
Richard T. B. Ma received the B.Sc. (first-class honors) degree in Computer Science in July 2002 and the M.Phil. degree in Computer Science and Engineering in July 2004, both from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in May 2010 from Columbia University. During his Ph.D. study, he worked as a research intern at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York and Telefonica Research in Barcelona. His current research interests include distributed systems, smart grids, network economics, game theory, and stochastic processes.

Dongbo Min
Dongbo Min
Dongbo Min received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 2003, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He then worked at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) as a post-doctoral researcher from June 2009 to June 2010. His research interests include 3D computer vision, video processing, 3-D modeling and hybrid sensor system.
